founding a cult
Barefoot cult was created in 2023 by a strange set of events.
Our keyboardist Porsha met our guitarist Tony through a mutual friend who happened to compliment her Converse on a trip to Wesco. Seeing Tony play reminded her of a previous band she played in with our second guitarist Joe.
Joe eventually brought with him Brodie the Bassist, and finally ended the look for a drummer by suggesting an addition of Elliot.
Although the debate of a name was strong our mutual alliance of friend groups and shoeless shenanigans brought us to the name barefoot cult sparked by Tony's strange obsession with Chinese foot binding. We all agree being barefoot was the best thing to do and have continued to play together ever since.
